SERVICES AVAILABLE FOR
FAMILIES
We provide
comprehensive family support services including assessment,
information, advocacy, case co-ordination and/or management, support
through a transition or crisis to families with diverse
needs
DIVERSE
NEEDS MAY INCLUDE:
- Children with
developmental issues such as: challenging behaviors, emotional,
cognitive, physical or communication concerns.
- Parents who are
overwhelmed, having difficulty coping, or are currently in a
crisis.
- Families who have
concerns about how a child is adjusting to day care.
- Adolescent
parents.
- Children who would
benefit from a safe and nurturing day care placement as part of a
family support plan.
- Parents who are
isolated, lack support or have mental or physical
challenges.
- Families new to the
city or to Canada and/or with
English as a second language.
